To that end, the Community Green Charter School is a free, public K-12
Progressive/democratic program with an emphasis on sustainability, the
environment and peace education focusing on the history and culture of
Florida. The school will have a significant emphasis on health and nutrition
education through the understanding of the principles of agriculture and
direct involvement through an in-school 4-H club in a green farm
environment. The school will begin in August 2011 with grades K-7, rolling
up at least one grade per year.
